By doing these yourself, you would have more control over what happens during transactions. Also, you would better relate to your buyers because you know more details about your house than an agent would. You would also be the one to set the price of your home because the agent might decrease it in order to sell the house faster. So sell your home because you can and let the agent find a job elsewhere.
